This kit improves the cooling capacity of the transmission oil by use of a separate oil cooler, thus ensuring less wear and an improved shift quality.

At oil temperatures above about 125 °C, the shifting quality of the gearbox is significantly reduced, because the function of synchro rings is reduced.
You may notice this by a higher force required to change gear.
An important aspect of this problem is to improve the cooling of the transmission oil. The gearbox oil cooler radiator is positioned in right hand side air scoop to allow efficient cooling.
The kit contains the hoses and fittings as well as an electric oil pump. The pump is not running permanently and is controlled by a special thermostatic switch.
The oil capacity of the gearbox is approx. 4-4.5 litres with this cooler system installed

Warning, the oil cooling optimizes the function of the gearbox, but cannot resolve design limits!

Does not include gearbox oil (Aprox 4-4.5 litres) or installation.
Some technical skills and access to workshop equipment are require to install the kit.
