SL Revmatch Device For Exige V6 And Evora
NOT AVAILABLE MAIL ORDER
Calibrated rev match device to suit Lotus Exige V6 and Evora.
Dedicated device for Lotus V6 Exige and Evora platform, with built in look up table, that compares engine speed and vehicle speed, to calculate current gear position. When it sees a pre determined brake activation and clutch position, it will then send the correct engine speed request to the engine ECU, to raise the engine speed to match the next gear down. Includes an ODB port cover stating 'do not flash'
Connecting the device
To turn on and off, simply plug in to the OBD connector to turn on and remove to turn off.
Led lights inside the device
When the device is plugged into the OBD connector with the ignition off, the LED inside the unit turns blue. This will turn off after about one minute if the ignition is not turned on (Sleep mode).
When the ignition is turned on and the device is able to communicate with the engine ECU, the led will be green.
When the ignition is turned off with the device connected to the engine ECU, the device loses communication with the engine ECU and the LED will be red (Lost communication). After one minute of the engine being turned off, the unit goes into sleep mode.
We advise removing the device when not being used.
Fitment requires us sending an update to the engine ECU via the OBD connector. This does not affect the calibration file for the engine maps. The device will only work on Lotus T6e ECU fitted to V6-engined cars that have an updated ecu file installed (it will NOT work in other cars unless they have had the necessary update).
Do not allow any further updates to be made to the engine ECU without contacting us first, as it could delete our update. The device will come with a new red OBD port cover with ‘DO NOT FLASH’ embossed on it.
How does it work?
When the brake and clutch are actuated in any gear from 6 down to 2 a rev match will occur for the next gear down (This is NOT simple blip, it is a rev match) It will only rev match a single gear, with a clear ‘clutch pedal released’ signal being required to start the cycle again for the next gear down. It will attempt a rev match if you press the clutch and brake and change up a gear. Avoid doing this to minimise drive train wear.
Please contact us if you have non standard gear/final drive ratios.
Currently only available for fitment at our Hull base, or at selected UK LOT track days where we are in attendance – please advise beforehand, if you are intending to meet us at a track day.
