Seriously Lotus Shear Panel (will fit with our Pro-Sump)

Applications - All S2 (Toyota) Elise/Exige/2-Eleven (Not 2010 cup cars)

This Seriously Lotus Shear Panel has been designed to fit with the larger capacity baffled Pro-sump.
(Will also fit with the standard sump)
It reduces longitudinal and lateral compliance of the rear suspension, increasing lateral
hub stiffness and tyre contact patch stiffness, therefore
maximising vehicle potential on the circuit.

Including the fitting kit this shear panel weighs an incredible 0.8kg
210mm wide, 590mm long with 20mm sides

This shear panel fits underneath the engine/gearbox and connects the chassis and rear of the subframe. Simple bolt on modification for those who enjoy circuit driving.
For those with the Lotus shear panel already fitted that wish to upgrade to a Pro-sump, then this is an ideal modification.
Simply remove the Lotus Shear Panel and replace with this Seriously Lotus version. (It used 6 of the 8 mounting points used by Lotus),.
We have designed this panel so that it is fully interchangeable with the Lotus Shear Panel but allowing the fitment of our baffled sump (a must for circuit use)

A significant added benefit of this panel is the fact that when changing the oil filter this panel does not need to be removed/ cleaned due to spilt oil.
Access to the oil filter is the same as without the panel fitted (Unlike the Lotus version)
